Crowds pack downtown Reno every weekend as lines spill out of crowded bars. Bridal parties flash new rings, 21st birthdays are toasted and first responders are sometimes in view. Everyone is in downtown for different reasons. Ben Davis, mostly known by his social media name “Reno After Dark,” is there to take photos and videos. His social media has been steadily growing in popularity, with more than 226,000 followers now on Instagram, with nightly portraits and behind-the-scenes videos of his point of view popping up on many local phones. Neon lighting spills across his images, reflecting off the people. Reno After Dark photos can only be described as radiant.
